Osage Orange Wood Ring – Torch Burn Handcrafted Wood Band
Osage Orange Wood Ring – Torch Burn Finish
Crafted one at a time in our workshop, each Osage Orange wood ring is shaped, sanded, and hand-finished to highlight the natural character of the wood.
No two rings are ever exactly alike—each piece reflects the unique grain, tone, and texture of the wood itself. Each ring comes in its own gift box with care instructions and ring conditioner; made from beeswax we harvest from our own hives.
About Osage Orange Wood
Osage Orange Wood Ring – Torch Burn Finish
Osage Orange is a dense American hardwood known for its striking golden-yellow color and exceptional durability. Naturally strong and resilient, it has long been valued for tools and traditional bow making. With time and exposure to light, its bright tones deepen into a warm amber, creating a ring that evolves beautifully with wear.
Finish: Torch Burned (Shou Sugi Ban)
Inspired by the traditional Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban, this finish uses controlled torch-burning to gently darken the surface of the wood. The process enhances contrast within the grain, bringing out deeper lines and natural texture while giving the ring a warm, rustic character. Each torch-burned ring reflects subtle variations created by the burn, making every piece uniquely expressive while remaining refined and wearable.

Fit & Sizing
Wide wood bands can feel slightly more snug than thin metal rings. We often recommend sizing up by ½ size for the best fit. Each ring includes a small sanding disc to allow for minor fit adjustments or smoothing the interior if needed.
For best results, we recommend visiting a local jeweler to try on a wide band ring before ordering.
