Ash Wood Ring – Torch Burn Wide Band Work-Safe Ring
Ash Wood Ring – Torch Burn Finish
Crafted one at a time in our workshop, each Ash wood ring is shaped, sanded, and hand-finished to highlight the natural character of the wood.
No two rings are ever exactly alike—each piece reflects the unique grain, tone, and texture of the wood itself. Each ring comes in its own gift box with care instructions and ring conditioner; made from beeswax we harvest from our own hives.
About Ash Wood
Ash is a light-toned hardwood valued for its strength and natural flexibility—qualities that have long made it a trusted choice for baseball bats. Its open grain and pale color give each ring a clean, refined look while remaining durable and resilient. With wear, ash develops a soft patina that adds warmth and depth to the grain over time.
Finish: Torch Burned (Shou Sugi Ban)
Inspired by the traditional Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban, this finish uses controlled torch-burning to gently darken the surface of the wood. The process enhances contrast within the grain, bringing out deeper lines and natural texture while giving the ring a warm, rustic character. Each torch-burned ring reflects subtle variations created by the burn, making every piece uniquely expressive while remaining refined and wearable.

Fit & Sizing
Wide wood bands can feel slightly more snug than thin metal rings. We often recommend sizing up by ½ size for the best fit. Each ring includes a small sanding disc to allow for minor fit adjustments or smoothing the interior if needed.
For best results, we recommend visiting a local jeweler to try on a wide band ring before ordering.
